Brittany is an Emotional Wellness Teacher, SAH Method Coach, and founder of Magnetic Mermaid. She is also the creator of Activate—an online membership where women and others can join live and recorded Somatic Activated Healing classes while connecting with the Activate Collective. This transformative path is designed for those stepping into their next chapter, guiding them from rock bottom to their most authentically aligned and activated selves.
She also teaches a local Somatic Activated Healing class every Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Yoga Gallery Downtown.
When Brittany isn’t guiding women toward radical self-love or contributing to the conservation of Mother Earth, you can find her at 6 a.m., soaking in the beauty of an ocean sunrise on Florida’s east coast or curled up in her favorite boho chair with a self-improvement book in hand.
This method hasn’t just softened my heart. It held me.
For the past year, I’ve been on a long and unexpected health journey—navigating chronic illness for the first time in my life. Some days, the emotions have been too much to hold.
The frustration.
The resentment.
The grief.
The isolation.
And yet—this practice has held me through it all. Sometimes, the healing doesn’t happen in the 30–45-minute session. Sometimes, it happens in the hardest moments, when I remember:

As Pema Chödrön says:
